Absolutely superb class. As a novice who is familiar with guns but not fully comfortable with the ins and outs of it all this class was amazing. Joe took the time to really break everything down and make sure to answer all questions I had and made sure I was completely comfortable before moving on. The time spent doing the drills really hammered in the proper techniques and the proper way to defend yourself. After this class I feel more comfortable with my firearm more confident, my accuracy with my firearm rose tremendously. He makes learning fun and is so passionate about his teaching of this craft. He even puts you in pressure situations with the beeper/timer that really makes you think and realize the time it takes to do what is necessary of need be. 10/10 would recommend. Amazing class!

My personal experience was for CCW training on a Saturday (8 hours) in class and the following Saturday (4 hours) on the gun range. Joe is not only an amazing teacher but he is also an amazing mentor and person to look up to. LibertyTac offered a great CCW renewal. Price was good and so was the class. Class size was small which allowed for a lot of one on one instruction with the instructor. Great class for a beginner or someone looking to renew. This wasn’t just you basic shot to qualify class. I could write a novel about what a great experience I had with Joe at Liberty Tac, but I will keep it to a minimum! Prior to my CCW renewal class the communication was excellent and I never felt like I was coming to the class unprepared. Joe was timely, prepared, very knowledgeable and has excellent skill with handling firearms. I felt safe and never once felt like I was being judged in a negative way while taking his course. He had excellent pointers and tips for becoming more proficient with my gun handling techniques and overall I feel like I left his renewal class more prepared than other classes I have attended in the last 6 years. Thank you Joe, I will definitely be taking your class again in the future!

Joe is an amazing instructor. The class was intense and informative. Joe goes above and beyond to not only making sure you feel comfortable with your weapon but you also feel confident with your knowledge and skills. Joe incorporates how to use your weapon with how to protect your weapon in an emergency. I will recommend Liberty Tac Safety and CPR to anyone that is interested in learning how to protect themselves. I will especially recommend Liberty Tac to any female, Joe did not treat me any differently than he did the males in the class however, he did make sure to make me feel safe with complete professionalism.

Joe is very compassionate and knows what he is talking about. He has a lot of experience in the field and I feel this makes a difference when learning. LibertyTac offered a great CCW renewal. Price was good and so was the class. Class size was small which allowed for a lot of one on one instruction with the instructor. Great class for a beginner or someone looking to renew. This wasn’t just you basic shot to qualify class. The instructor had all of the student work through gun malfunctions, reloading while engaging a target along with moving with the gun. Great class. I would recommend LibertyTac to everyone looking for a good CCW class.

Joe Copher, the owner and head trainer at LibertyTac, was exceptional from start to finish. My personal experience was for CCW training on a Saturday (8 hours) in class and the following Saturday (4 hours) on the gun range. Joe made those 8 hours count on the first Saturday and gave us all a wealth of knowledge not only about gun safety and use, but about self defense, self preparedness, and even some first aid training. The following Saturday I showed up for range day without having shot let alone handled a handgun in twenty plus years. Joe is a excellent instructor. I been to many CCW classes and Joe’s class was unlike any other I’ve been through. Instead of qualifying and telling stories for most of the class Joe implemented several real life scenarios where we trained to prepare for a potential attacker and practiced these scenarios for muscle memory. He also reviewed several high level techniques so we could practice them on our own time. Well done Joe, will be back.

This was the best experience I’ve had with renewing my CPR!! Easy, thorough, professional and so relatable to my profession. Joe has many years of experience in CPR and EMS and knows how field work really is! Teaching CPR is a passion and a gift he really has. I would highly recommend him to anyone from the novice to the most experienced field personnel. Actually looking forward to the next renewal.

I took Joe's CCW class. It was first class. He made the basics fun but where his class exceeded my expectations was how fun range day was. He taught valuable skills not offered by other courses. He made it fun and exciting! I took away new drills to put to use in my personal training. I would highly recommend Joe if your looking for more than the basics and someone who will make it fun!
